Terry Camp - Principal RLA #4494
Terry Camp is a registered landscape architect with over fifty years of experience in the field, and a long-standing presence in the landscape architectural community. He has spent more than twenty-five years serving as a public official, earning a reputation for exceptional design expertise and superior communication skills.
Terry’s broad portfolio encompasses the planning and design of parks, open spaces, trail systems, commercial, industrial, residential, and recreational developments. He also brings extensive experience in community development studies, environmental impact assessments, and fostering community consensus, ensuring projects are thoughtfully integrated within their contexts.
In recognition of his dedication to public service, Terry received a Certificate of Recognition from the California State Senate and Legislature in 1998 for his twenty-five years as Planning and Design Review Commissioner for the cities of Lafayette, Walnut Creek, and Martinez. His career reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing the quality and impact of landscape architecture while mentoring the next generation of designers.
Outside of the office, Terry enjoys golfing and relaxing in Cabo, drawing balance and inspiration from his time spent outdoors.
Pam Winther - Principal, Landscape Architect
Pam brings a wealth of experience to Camp and Camp Associates, having worked across all facets of landscape architecture throughout her career. Her portfolio spans public and institutional projects, hospitality sites, large-scale residential estates, public parks, recreational facilities, and schools. Most recently, she has contributed to some of the largest new developments in the East Bay.
As Senior Design Director, Pam leverages her extensive knowledge of the design process to oversee and mentor associates across the firm, ensuring that every project reflects Camp and Camp’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and thoughtful design.
Beyond her professional work, Pam is actively engaged in her community, serving on local planning committees and helping shape the future of the areas she serves. Her dedication to both her profession and her community underscores her role as a leader and mentor within the firm.
Rocky Avitia - Associate
Rocky Avitia brings over 17 years of experience in landscape architecture and residential design, with a strong focus on creating refined, buildable outdoor environments. His expertise spans the full design process—from conceptual planning and client presentations to detailed construction documentation utilizing the latest 2D and 3D visualization tools to clearly communicate design intent.
Rocky studied architecture and horticulture at San Joaquin Delta College and further advanced his education in landscape architecture at Merritt College in Oakland which is well regarded for its hands-on, plant-focused curriculum and emphasis on sustainable landscape practices, helping to shape his practical understanding of plant materials and site design. With a foundational background in architecture, Rocky has a deep understanding of structural systems, construction methods, and technical detailing. Throughout his career, he has worked on a wide range of residential projects, developing a reputation for thoughtful design, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach with clients, consultants, and builders.
At Camp and Camp Associates, Rocky continues to contribute to the firm’s legacy of high-end residential landscape architecture, bringing creativity, precision, and a commitment to excellence to every project.
Outside of the office, Rocky enjoys backpacking, spending time in nature, and traveling the world and gaining experiences that continue to inspire his appreciation for diverse landscapes and inform his design perspective.
Dhara Oza - Project Manager
Dhara Oza is a Project Manager and Landscape Designer at Camp and Camp Associates, bringing nearly six years of professional experience to the firm. She contributes to a diverse range of projects, with expertise in producing landscape construction documents for residential and commercial developments.
Dhara holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture from India. Her work is driven by a strong interest in the relationship between people and the natural environment, resulting in thoughtful and well-resolved outdoor spaces.
Known for her technical and graphic abilities, Dhara places particular emphasis on the development of clear, precise construction documentation. She enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including consulting professionals, specialists, and project managers to deliver cohesive and impactful design solutions for her clients.
Outside of the office, Dhara enjoys traveling and photography, interests that continue to inspire her creative perspective and appreciation for diverse landscapes.
Eric West - Landscape Designer
Eric West has been a valued member of Camp and Camp Associates for over 30 years, long contributing his talents to the firm while maintaining a full career as a drafter with East Bay Municipal Utility District. His longstanding involvement with CCA reflects both his dedication to the craft and his passion for landscape architecture.
Eric is especially known for his exceptional hand sketching and graphic presentation skills, bringing a timeless, artistic quality to the design process. His ability to translate ideas into expressive, hand-drawn visuals has been an asset to the firm, enhancing both conceptual development and client presentations.
Abby Fondren - Operations Manager
Abby Fondren works closely with Terry Camp and the Camp and Camp Associates team to help ensure projects remain on schedule and deadlines are consistently met. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail play a key role in supporting the firm’s day-to-day operations and overall project workflow.
Abby brings extensive experience in accounting, including project billing and budgeting, providing critical financial oversight across multiple projects. Her ability to manage project-related finances with accuracy and efficiency helps maintain alignment between design, scheduling, and client expectations.
A reliable and integral member of the team, Abby contributes to the smooth coordination of projects, supporting CCA’s commitment to delivering high-quality residential landscape architecture with professionalism and precision.
Slade Woehrle - Landscape Designer
Slade Woehrle is a Landscape Designer based in Lafayette, California, making meaningful contributions to Camp and Camp Associates’ residential landscape projects. Raised in Lafayette, Slade developed a passion for the outdoors and design early on, inspired by the natural beauty of his surroundings.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Washington State University, where he honed both his technical and graphic skills while cultivating a strong appreciation for collaboration and interpersonal dynamics. At Camp and Camp Associates, Slade combines his academic foundation with practical experience, contributing to thoughtful and innovative landscape design solutions.
Outside of the office, Slade enjoys outdoor activities and values quality time spent with friends and family, drawing inspiration from the landscapes and communities he loves.

Eddie Camp - Principal RLA #K9
Our senior principal Eddie has been with us since the beginning. He has helped on countless projects by promoting team bonding. Eddie is a responsible leader and does a superb job at overseeing the office functions - from his bed.
Sherlock Camp - ‘Holmes’ and Gardens Detective
Having retired from his previous career as a medical research beagle, Sherlock now explores a different stage of his life. Sherlock has already showed expertise in his new field as our designated flora and fauna detective, with his impressive sense of smell. He also has gone above and beyond and adopted the “snack detective” role.
Lola - Dog Park Consultant
Lola consults with all CCA staff to promote dog-friendly landscape and urban design practices. She enjoys going out for walks and loves the beach.
